Short films for your feed, starring you.
Directors create 10–15 second scenes. Anyone can recast them with their own characters. Every paid recast sends 20% of its credits to the director.
Three ways to take part
Pick a featured scene and cast your own character in it. The video renders in about two minutes.
Write a 10–15 second script in up to four shots and render it into a scene. Every paid recast earns you 20%.
Your shot text stays private. People see the layout and timing; the only way to use your words is to recast, and every paid recast pays you.
Anatomy of a scene
Shot text stays private: others see only the layout and timing, and only you can read the words. Scenes run 10–15s, in two to four shots, with one or two roles and a sound.

How royalties work
Example: someone recasts a 12-second scene, which costs 12 credits. The director gets 2.4 of them as royalty credits, the moment the video is ready.

FAQ
What is a recast?
A recast is your own take on someone’s scene: the same script, starring your character instead of the original cast. Pick a scene, choose your character for each role, and the video renders in about two minutes.
How much does a recast cost?
1 credit per second of video, with a minimum of 10. A 12-second scene costs 12 credits. If a render fails, the credits go back to your balance automatically.
Why do free credits need a card?
Free credits cost real video rendering, so they’re limited to one grant per person. A one-time card check through Stripe confirms that. Nothing is charged, the card isn’t kept on file, and prepaid or virtual cards aren’t accepted for free credits. You can skip it and buy credits instead.
Do credits expire?
No. Credits stay in your balance as long as your account is open, including credits from a plan you’ve cancelled.
Why can’t I read a scene’s script?
The words are the director’s work, and they’re what makes the video look the way it does, so they stay private. You see the title, hook, shot layout and timing. Recast it to make your own video from the full script.
Can someone copy my scene?
Nobody but you can read your shot text. Curators read it only to decide on featuring. Others see the title, hook, shot layout and timing, and anyone who wants your film has to recast it, which pays you. A finished video shows the story, but the exact wording that shapes how it looks stays yours.
How much do directors earn?
20% of the credits each paid recast of your scene costs, paid to you in credits. A 12-credit recast earns you 2.4 credits; fractions add up and arrive as whole credits. Recasts made only with free credits, and recasts of your own scenes, don’t earn royalties.
How and when do I get paid?
Right away, in credits: as soon as a paid recast of your scene finishes, your share goes into your balance and shows in Plan & credits as a royalty. Spend them on previews and recasts like any other credits. They never expire. Cash payouts may come later.
Whose face can I use?
Your own, or someone who has clearly agreed to it. No one under 18, and no celebrities or public figures. Original characters are made from a description or concept art, so you can use them without anyone’s permission. Full rules are in the Terms.
What happens to my character photos?
We use them only to render your own recasts. They’re sent privately to the video model for each render, aren’t shown to anyone else, and are deleted when you delete them. See the Privacy Policy.
How do scenes get featured?
Submit a scene when you publish it. Curators review it and either feature it on Discover (you get a check mark) or leave it on your profile, where followers can still recast it. You’re emailed either way.
Can I post my recasts on TikTok, Reels or YouTube?
Yes. Download the video and copy the caption, which credits the director and links the scene. Turn on the platform’s AI-generated content label when you post.
How do I cancel a plan?
Go to Plan & credits → Manage billing. Your plan stops at the end of the period, and you keep the credits you have.
